What Happened to Tiny Supply?

Great question!

Back in 2024, we wanted to expand our kids section and offer a whole shop's worth of amazing books, toys, STEM, and art supplies for our favorite clever kids. But 750sf only goes so far and we didn't want to dig into our stationery sections. When a unit above us became available we jumped on it and opened Tiny Supply!

Our upstairs shop has been a magical little place and we love every piece of it, but as of August 2026, we are expanding our downstairs Hitchcock Paper Co. space (doubling in size!) and absorbing Tiny Supply back into the original Hitchcock brand.

Why are we doing this?

A few reasons. The main reason is accessibility. Being on the second floor with no elevator makes us inaccessible to people using mobility devices and parents with strollers. We want to be ADA friendly so that everyone can enjoy the magic.

Another reason is that splitting our staff made us sad. We love working together and having the opportunity to bring everyone back into one space together, made us all do a little happy dance.

When did this/is this happening?

August of 2026! Exact dates are TBD, but by early fall we will all be together again on the main floor of 125 Mill Street, Occoquan, VA.

Does this change how I can order on the website?

Not one bit! We've always had both stores operating as one on our hitchcockpaper.com website. You can continue to order as you always have, for shipping or in-store pick up.

Will you change which kids brand you carry?

There are a few brands we plan to discontinue. Less so because we're moving and more because they just weren't the right fit for us. We plan to carry a bit less, but curate it more (quality over quantity). You can still find heirloom wood toys, thoughtfully picked out books, baby gifts, and a plethora of STEM, art and education supplies.

Why aren't you using the Tiny Supply name anymore?

Being under one roof together means consolidating our brands back to the original "house" brand of Hitchcock Paper is the clearest way to do things! One name, all the great stuff you love.
