A5 notebook are typically 5.8 × 8.3 inches (148 × 210 mm). They are frequently referred to as "regular" size and equal half of an A4 sheet of paper.
What do all these letters and numbers mean? Notebook sizes typically fall into two global systems: the ISO 216 A-series (A4, A5, A6, A10, etc) and the Japanese JIS B-series (B6, B7, B4, etc). There are some outliers such as traveler's size, passport, and pocket. Plus some makers simply create their own size based on their country's standard or available materials/printing process.
