Mysterious as the moon

The Lunar cycle has come to completion. Two more stunning hues are added to the Kaweco Lunar series: Our darker Shadow Purple is reminiscent of delicate orchid blossoms, while Light Purple, with its pale, mauve shimmer, evokes the soft light of the moon.

They are both imbued with a fascinating colour-changing iridescent effect, making the multicoloured hues dance around the Lunar Sport depending on where the light meets it. This not only leaves room for impressive contrasts, but also makes you see the Lunar series in a new light at every glance.

A play of light and shadow

The series’ two new colour variants embody a literal play of light and shadow. The dark base colour of our Shadow Purple lets the colour effects pop, while one can see a more subtle display with Light Purple. Opposites that enhance each other. Its exchangeable 060 nib makes the Lunar even more of an unique star.

The light ABS material makes the pen feel almost weightless, making it effortless to write for long durations. Of course, the Lunar is still as robust as all our famous Sport models despite this.

Shining companion

Our pocket-sized Kaweco Lunar Sport fountain pen, weighing just 11 g, only measures 10.5 cm when closed. With the cap attached, it extends to a more standard size of 12.7 cm. For beginners, we recommend nib size M. All nibs are produced in Germany.

To complete the look, the pen is placed within our standard black paperbox. For further customisation, we have eleven colourful inks, a foldable mini converter, and clips in gold, silver, bronze, and black. To protect the pen, you can choose between a wide variety of pouches for Kaweco Sport pens.

NOTE: Our system only allows us to attribute certain nibs for specific colors. If you wish to get a different nib size on the shadow vs. light, please email us at info@hitchcockpaper.com and we can swap them out for you!
