Seven components - that's how many individual parts are used to make the Kaweco Sport fountain pen made of high-quality plastic. In contrast to fully automated machinery, the writing instruments are assembled by hand every day in the Kaweco manufactory in Nuremberg.

NOTE: This is a PRE-ORDER and only available for your to assemble during our in-store event. THIS PEN WILL NOT BE SHIPPED.

How Does it Work?

Come in person to Hitchcock Paper Co (125 Mill Street, Occoquan, VA) during the dates and times below, to assemble your very own Kaweco DIY Sport Pen:

Saturday, Nov. 14 - 10am-6pm
Sunday, Nov. 15 - 10am-6pm
Friday, Nov. 20 - 10am-6pm
Saturday, Nov. 21 - 10am-8pm

One of our Hitchcock Paper pen pros will walk you through how to assemble your pen. It's a fairly easy process! By the end you'll walk away with a fully functioning DIY Sport pen, plus a royal blue Kaweco ink cartridge.

What Options are There?

You can equip your DIY Sport with your desired nib size, ranging from extra fine (EF) to extra broad (BB). For beginners, we recommend nib size M. All nibs are produced in Germany. The writing instrument comes ready to use with a royal blue ink cartridge.

Why Should I Pre-Order?

We will reserve your desired nib size
First 10 pre-orders will receive a complimentary 5ml sample of Herbin Phosphorescent Ink!

Without a pre-order, all options are first-come first-served until sold out. With a pre-order, there is no risk of us selling out before you're able to come by, or running out of your favorite nib size.
